APPLICATION TIPS

Here are some tips on how to fill out the application form:

• First, read the Rules of Entry to ensure that you are eligible to apply.
• You don’t have to complete the application all at once. You can return to it at any point by following the link in the email we will send you and logging in. Remember to hit SAVE to save your answers as you go.
• If you are completing this application on behalf of someone else, you must obtain their permission prior to submitting the application and all permissions and consents contained within the application must be given by the applicant themselves.
• You can only apply once to each series of the programme and therefore must only set up one log in. If we consider that you have sent us more than one application (per series of the programme), Love Productions may decide not to consider you to take part in the programme.
• The closing date for applications is 1pm on Monday 15th December 2025  (although please note that we may change this date). Fill out your application form sooner rather than later. Please do not leave it until the closing date. 
• Audition spaces are limited. The sooner you complete your application, the better.
• We’re looking for people with a real passion for baking. Don’t worry if you’re not a great writer, just tell us as much as you can about you and your baking. We want to hear what you’re good at, but also what you’re not so good at. We’re not expecting you to be brilliant at everything; this just helps us to get a clearer idea of what kind of baker you are.
• We want to see your baking! Please include a range of AT LEAST 5 photos of different bakes to show off your baking repertoire. Please include bread, two types of pastry, cake and biscuits in your photographs. 
• Please include a recent photograph of yourself. 
• You will also have the option to upload a video clip of yourself of up to 1 minute.
  Although the video is optional we would like to encourage those of you who are able to to include this in your application.
• Only people who have made it to the next round will be contacted by a member of the production team. Due to the large number of applications we receive, we are unable to give individual feedback or deal with individual queries. If you have not heard from us by Friday 20th February 2026, then unfortunately your application has not been successful.
• When selecting applicants for the Programme, we will, amongst other factors, take into account: skill, enthusiasm, drive and love of baking. We are looking for lively characters that are comfortable being filmed. Initial selection will be based on the application forms and telephone interviews. In addition, we may (but may not) invite shortlisted applicants to attend an interview at our discretion. Auditions will either take place remotely or in person. We will be looking for a mix of contestants to reflect the range in age, location, gender and diversity of amateur bakers in Britain.
