A. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible to take part in the programme, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

1. You must be aged at least 18 (eighteen) years old at the date you submit your application.

2. You must be a legal resident in the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man and also be currently living in the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.

3. You must not be currently employed by any of the ITV plc group of companies or a live-in partner or immediate relative (i.e. mother, father, son, daughter, brother or sister) of someone who works on the programme.

C. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

The personal information you provide in this form will be collected and processed in accordance with our privacy notice. The controller of your personal information will be Potato (a label and trading name of ITV Studios Limited). 

Given the nature of the programme, it is reasonable and proportionate for us to carry out background checks during the casting process, including asking if you have any criminal record, to assess your suitability to take part. The programme involves participants spending time together in person and we have a duty of care to everyone who takes part. An appearance on the programme may mean increased scrutiny, such as press interest and/or social media commentary, for you and us, and these checks help protect both your interests and ours. We will ask for this information if you are invited to further stages of casting, such as a telephone or zoom interview or an in person audition. Any information you provide will not automatically exclude you from being considered for or participating in the programme.

Where we ask for and you give your consent for processing certain types of sensitive information, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting myprivacy@itv.com. Please be aware that withdrawing your consent may, depending on the timing, prevent us from proceeding with your application.

D. FUTURE CONTACT PREFERENCES

This section is about your preferences for us to retain your name and contact details to keep in touch with you for future series of this programme and/or other shows produced by any companies that operate within our family of companies. Whatever your decision here, please be assured it won’t influence our selection process for this programme. Please note that if we do get in touch with you in the future, you may be asked to update us with any changes to the information you have provided and, if appropriate, submit a new application.

With your consent, we will keep your name and contact details for a maximum period of three years so you can be considered for appearing on, or being in the audience on, any other programmes produced by us or by one of our group and/or affiliate companies (“Other Shows”).
